Tampa, Florida (January 29, 2019) – Air Culinaire Worldwide announced today the launch of a new mobile app enabling clients to access to global menus, in-flight catering tools and culinary resources. With this app, the content will be available for download onto the users’ mobile devices to facilitate offline access, such as when working on a flight without WiFi availability, thus providing a solution to a common challenge expressed by the caterer’s clients.
“The app serves several purposes and was developed to minimize menu fatigue, which is a challenge for everyone in business aviation,” said Paul Schweitzer, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. “First and foremost, it provides users with a wide-range of menus to consider that are popular alternatives to the routine items commonly ordered. Secondly, it provides Air Culinaire Worldwide with the opportunity to update or change menus frequently and have those menu items available instantly on the app. Lastly, we incorporated a variety of tools and resources that are used by in-flight culinary professionals around the world. We look forward to receiving user feedback and will make enhancements over time, so the app becomes one of your favorite catering resources.”
Upon launch, the app comes with a set of menus available at a variety of destinations frequented during private aviation trips that are served by Air Culinaire Worldwide kitchens or Air Culinaire Worldwide Network vendors. In addition, a library of helpful in-flight catering tools and culinary resources are pre-loaded in the app to further educate users in upscale plating techniques, cultural influences on cuisine, food safety and other best practices.
As new menus, tools and resources are developed, users will receive push notification that new content is available. At that time, users have a choice to download the content to their mobile device for future offline access or to access the content without download while connected to the internet.
