National Hot Buttered Rum Day is celebrated on January 17th in the United States. Nothing is better on a cold day than a nice, warm Hot Buttered Rum to drink. The drink is made with rum, butter, cider, sweetener and a variety of spices, like cinnamon. The drink can be dated back to the colonial days of the United States, and has been popular during the long winter months ever since.
