Las Vegas bills itself as “The Entertainment Capital of the World” and the amount of private aviation traffic proves that they have a stake in this claim. To get the inside details into this lively city, we spoke with Luxury Concierge Kelly Ann Gorman. Kelly Ann is based in Las Vegas and plays a number of roles for her clients, including corporate flight attendant, personal assistant, professional makeup artist and stylist. She brings seven years of experience to the table and knows all of the best spots in town.
Kelly Ann started off working on motor yachts and cruise ships for over six years which led to personal assistant positions for families with jets. Now she has used those experiences to branch out on her own. She has experience with aircraft such as Learjet 35, Beechjet 400A, Citation III, Learjet 60, Falcon 2000 and G450. She also arranges charter flights for her clients and prides herself in her ability to quickly procure the right aircraft with limited notice. She is an active National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) member and has attended their conventions in San Diego and Las Vegas.
Since Kelly Ann has lived in Las Vegas for only about two years and is busy traveling with clients, she says she is still exploring the town like a tourist. She suggests spending time at “the Bellagio Fountains and Red Rock Canyon. From there, visit the new shopping area called The Linq and a ride on the new High Roller.” Las Vegas is known for its iconic entertainment, she says, “Le Reve at the Wynn is spectacular. If you want to experience a pool party, Drai’s Beach Club is the best. It’s brand new and is the first rooftop pool in Las Vegas. You can even pay to set off your own fireworks. It’s incredible!” If you only have enough time to get a quick detour into your schedule, Kelly Ann suggests the “Las Vegas Monorail. It is a great way to see most of the strip without all the walking.”
Las Vegas is renowned for having an eclectic vibe its cuisine. Kelly Ann’s favorite restaurants are “Greens and Proteins for healthy and affordable food and Hakkasan for a great night out whether it is with friends or for a corporate dinner.” For an overall impression of the fast-paced life this location offers, she says, “Every day something new opens up. This is Las Vegas! The fun never ends in this city.”
For corporate flight attendants considering adding luxury concierge services to their repertoire, Kelly Ann advises that “dependability and honesty are key. You must know your clients.” She added, “Start off assisting someone. It is the best hands-on experience you can get. You must be a people person and honestly love what you do, because it shows.” The next time you are in Las Vegas, or need luxury concierge services, contact Kelly Ann Gorman at kellyanngorman610@gmail.com
