Located in Central Texas, Austin is situated alongside the Colorado River. Two airports are located in Austin, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS / KAUS) and Austin Executive Airport ( EDC / KEDC). Austin residents and visitors love the city due to its abundance of outdoor activities. The city has lakes, parks, caves and springs to explore. If you are visiting between March and October, you will be able to witness the nightly migration of over 1 million bats at sunset near Congress Bridge. This phenomenon is so popular there are even sunset cruises you can book to watch the bats. Other unique experiences to be had in Austin include hiking or biking the trails around Lady Bird Lake (named after Lady Bird Johnson, former first lady of the United States), relax at McKinney Falls State Park or explore the Westcave Discovery Center.

For a day indoors, there are many museums to visit in Austin. History buffs find the Bullock History Museum and LBJ Presidential Library are both located in Austin. The Harry Ransom Center and the Blanton Museum of Art, both at the University of Texas at Austin are the perfect places for art lovers to take in collections of paintings, drawings and sculptures.
