In-flight Catering for the Rugby World Cup 2015

As August begins, the busy season for sports slows down in the United Kingdom. After the Derby and Royal Ascot (horse races), and Queen’s Club and Wimbledon (tennis), we can look forward to the start of the Rugby World Cup.

Held every four years, this summer’s tournament is hosted by England and the first face-off will take place on 18 September at Twickenham Stadium (southwest of London) between England and Fiji. The 6-week long tournament consists of 48 matches played by the 20 top teams from all over the world. You can see the full match schedule here. New Zealand took home the trophy most recently in 2011, but on 31 October the next winning nation will be named.

After the Games and World Cup, this event is the largest in the world. Over 1.5 million people will be in attendance, many of whom will be travelling to England. If you or your passengers will be departing out of London, we will be offering special menu selections just for the event. The Rugby World Cup Menu will be available from the first match 18 September through the final on the 31 October. We hope you enjoy it, and also the rugby!
